My Story
I have trained in various holistic therapies over the last 20 years. My working life has seen me working in both the corporate marketing world and beauty salons. I am also a volunteer therapist for a local cancer charity offering Reiki treatments. I have always been passionate about helping others to find a path towards greater relaxation and well-being.
Racing thoughts, sleep problems, stress, anxiety, headaches, physical tension and pain can all manifest as a result of the demands of a busy world and a busy lifestyle. I know because I have been there myself in the past, experiencing all of these; trying to break the pattern and find a better balance. Self-care often slips way down our list of priorities, but I believe it is so important and where a holistic approach – to body, mind and soul is the main driver for well-being and good health.
Finding and learning Reiki was a hugely important step for me in addressing this balance and in October 2024 I was delighted to become a Reiki Master with a deep sense of purpose. Sharing the gift of Reiki to others, as well as other massage therapies, makes me feel truly fulfilled.
How often do we simply ‘just be’ where we can let our thoughts float away like clouds and marvel at the bigger world we live in and our place within it.

My Approach
I offer holistic treatments in a comfortable, modern, friendly salon in central Bishop’s Stortford called Annabelle’s. During your first visit I will do a full consultation with you to understand your needs, any medical conditions or contraindications and I will take time to fully explain the treatment so you feel comfortable. It’s so important to build up a mutual trust between client and therapist – and this is my aim.
Your well-being is my number one priority and I want you to leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
